Have You Heard the Call to True
Discipleship?

Jesus Christ
modeled true discipleship with the true heart of a minister.
He didn't just commission us to make disciples of all nations in
Matthew 28, He showed us how to disciple others. He held a
ministry training school here on earth for 3 years because disciples
are made, not born. He not only demonstrated power through
prayer and living out of the secret place with Father God, but
ministry in power and authority, followed by signs and wonders. |
|
I would like you to graft Jesus'
activities in the book of Luke and find out how Jesus spent his
time and what types of ministry He emphasized. His priorities
were clearly different from the priorities of most ministries today.
His sermons drew 1,000s as He preached politically incorrect topics
such as repentance of sin, responsibility for our choices,
restitution, forgiving the unforgivable and blessing our
persecutors. He stressed removing the beam from our own eyes
first as we apply the Word to our own lives, judging
ourselves strictly by the standards in the Word of God.

 |
| Jesus
said, "I tell you the truth, anyone who
has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even
greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."
John 14:12-13 NIV Jesus said they
will know we are disciples as they see our love for others and the
fruit of our ministry. Some works will actually be wood,
hay and stubble that burns in the end and other works will be like
precious gold and silver.
What are the most vital evidences of real
disciples of Jesus Christ?
What do disciples of Jesus need to know how to minister today? |
