What
Say You?
What are the Biggest
Destiny Blockers?
|
 |
|
Researchers say that each of us have
destiny codes already built into our DNA. The Bible says
that we were predestined before we were born, from the foundations of the
earth, to have a God given destiny. God loves us and has a
wonderful plan for our lives. He has been busy building faith growing
incidents into our lives and stretching our faith so that we will embrace
our destiny. Father God orchestrates opportunities that will increase
our trust in Him and equip us for His purposes and plans.
In spite of all
the ways that God makes rich deposits into our lives, many times
we simply choose not to take the next step into our God given destiny.
I heard a study that identified the top seven destiny blockers today.
What say you? Which ones were the top seven?
What would you say are the biggest destiny blockers in your life?

|
The Bible says that God gives us the desires of our hearts. Dr.
Mark Chirona said that doesn't mean that He gives us everything we desire,
but that He gives the very desire or vision to accomplish the destiny that
He Himself placed in our DNA. Just as plants put a demand to draw
certain chemicals from the soil, we are designed to desire all that we need
to fulfill our destiny. Similarly, a the chemical balance or imbalance
in a nursing baby's saliva will place a demand on the mother for just the
right nutrition.
|
The top 7 destiny blockers were that we
believe we have a: lack of ability to handle stress, lack of
focus, lack of confidence, lack of initiative, lack of ambition, lack of
self-control and lack of ability to connect with others.

Has God given you a vision that is bigger than you can
do in your natural ability?
Vision from God is always possible because He will not ask us to
do something that we cannot do in His strength. The key is that the
vision presses into a greater trust in God to fulfill the vision through us.
If we have invited Jesus Christ to live in our hearts as Lord and Savior, He
is resident in us to fulfill our vision with His strength, His gifts and His
power. Even the prayer that we pray to fulfill our vision is God
talking to Himself through us.
The biggest destiny blocker of all is our inability to trust God. We
picture ourselves separated from God and having to fulfill our vision in our
own strength. The delusions that (1.) we are alone and (2.) that
we lack something, hold us back. If our prayer is begging God to show
up or begging Him to fund a vision that we believe originates from us, we
are operating in doubt and unbelief. If we realize that He placed the
desires and vision in our hearts, we can go forth in confidence knowing that
our prayer is God talking to Himself through us.

Vision from God is God placing His purpose and plan
in our hearts. If we respond with a focus on our own ability, our
doubts, our fear of failure, our perceived lack of self-worth, we are
missing the point that Christ in us makes us complete in Him. (Collosians
1:27) Christ
in us has all the gifts, fruit and power that we need. If we see
ourselves as one with Jesus as He prays in John 17, we know that we have
everything we need in Christ inside us. |

We need to identify our scripts that keep us from trusting God to fulfill
our destiny through us. Many times these scripts were formed when
we were children and we have doubted ourselves ever since. We need to
ask forgiveness five ways and break them:
- Forgive others for teaching us to doubt ourselves and God.
- Ask God to forgive us for judging those who intimidated us.
- Ask for forgiveness for our sins, doubt and fears.
- Ask God to forgive us for doubting or blaming Him.
- Forgive ourselves for letting doubts hold us back for years.
Forgiveness five ways will break the power of our
ungodly beliefs and success/failure cycles. We can choose to trust
God to fulfill His vision, purposes and plans through us. We come
against our ungodly beliefs that we lack ability, power, gifting, knowledge,
time and energy to do all that God wants us to do. We choose to focus
on Christ in us (John 14:20) who is conforming us to His image and transforming us into
the overcomer who will succeed.
Let's agree with the prayer of Jabez, asking God to
increase our territory or our sphere of influence. Isn't it good
to ask God to bless us so that we overflow in blessing to others.
Let's renounce our fear of wealth and receive His funding to do His work!
Let's choose to believe that it is God's pleasure to use imperfect people to
bring about radical change in the world today. Success in always about
God's ability more than ours. We are simply available, in the right
place at the right time and He does the supernatural work.
If our vision is of God, we can believe that there are
no limits or boundaries on the ability to fulfill our vision. He
has given us the desires of our hearts and will sponsor us or fund us as we
obey Him. We will have divine connections and protection as we step
out in faith as long as it is His will, His way and His timing.
