"Prayers that Heal
the Heart"

Words couldn't describe how happy I
was, after I first called Dr. Mark Virkler. I had finally found
an accredited University and President who also believed in healing and
freedom for his ministry training students, transforming them from the
inside out! So many schools teach a ministry training student how to
minister without making sure the student has been transformed. I
wanted to finish my Masters at a school that offered mentoring, academic
courses and ministry training - getting free myself.
I was impressed that their teaching methods were not only left-brained academic but
were based on "Lamad learning." Without knowing it, most ministry training
students come loaded with negative beliefs and negative patterns that keep
them from getting free.

Real life, biblically-grounded, revelation-based learning
 
“While Greek uses two different words for 'to
learn'…and 'to teach'…, each having its own content, goal, and methods,
Hebrew uses the same root for both words [la mad] because all learning and
teaching is ultimately to be found in the fear of the Lord (Deut. 4:10;
14:23; 17:19; 31:12,13). To learn this is to come to terms with the will and
law of God…anyone who knows anything has learned it from [the Lord], the
source of all truth.”

Purpose:
To transform lives by bringing ministry training students into interaction with the Holy Spirit.
Lamad learning groups begin with real life issues and add
enlightenment from God which produces transformation through the power of
the Holy Spirit. The Lamad learning group member is required to
interact with life, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit to find real healing and
freedom in Christ, getting free of negative beliefs and
negative patterns.
Main Activity: We will gather for 10 weeks to discuss and practice
healing and freedom prayers, through a Lamad learning
experience. We will learn a strategy to identify negative beliefs and
negative patterns and practice new ways to minister effectively.

Isaiah 6:1-7 were my ministry verses
and I wanted to teach courses that were based on
healing the heart as well as getting free. Furthermore, when I
read "Communion With God," I found out that every course was based on
interaction with God! "Prayers that Heal the Heart" is basically a
mini training manual of how to minister effectively, to remove the negative
patterns and negative beliefs that block a believer's life. |
